This episode was meant to be a minisode, a shorter blind spot.

However, since the research kind of took on a life of its own, and its length rivals some of my full episodes,

I've gone ahead and marked it as episode 18.

Nevertheless, it's still a companion piece to my last episode on the Turin Shroud,

as we'll be looking into another venerated relic in the form of another cloth that many claim

holds a sacred and miraculously formed image.

Although there are no claims that this image can be traced

back to biblical times and all agree on its provenance, placing its origins sometime in the mid-16th

century, just after the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire, it may be argued that this artifact

rivals the significance of the Shroud of Turin,
