An acquaintance of mine, Ms. Beth, who is a teacher, has a group of kids who have a Marcus Aurelius Club.

And I was absolutely thrilled to receive a message from her that showed my picture, along with the Stoic Brecky newsletter, on the wall at

these kids' club. Their Marcus Aurelia's fan club. And so Ms. Beth and I went back and forth a little

bit, and I said, gosh, I'd love to come and talk to the kids if we could arrange that, but that's

kind of an expensive endeavor, and this is in America, and I live in the UK, and it's probably not very practical. Well, what if the kids submitted a bunch of questions that I could answer? And Ms. Beth said, oh, they love doing that. They've done that with Donald Robertson and others, and they would love to do it with you. So I said, let it rip, let's do it. I would love to do it. And so I have 30-something questions today.

I'm going to get through all of them. I have not read any of them. I have just very briefly skimmed to

see how many there are. And so as I read these, this will be my raw reaction and raw answers to what I suspect will be some pretty cool questions and

maybe some funny ones too. Now, of course, since we're dealing with young people, these kids are

between, I think, five, six, and like at the upper end, 10, 11, 12, they're in that window

or that age group. That's a pretty big age group.

They're within that age frame. I'm not going to share their names. I'm not going to share

where they're from. They just happen to all be part of the same mark as Aurelius fan club.

And they go by code names. Now, some of the code names I did see, and some of them are pretty

funny. If you are a parent,

who is going to let their kids listen to this episode, I would just ask that you listen to it

first. Of course, I'm not going to use any foul language. However, I have a tendency, even with my

own son, although he's only two, to talk to young kids like they are adults. I think this is a

very respectful way to talk about anything to

kids. And that can sometimes find me saying things that maybe you don't necessarily want your kids to

hear in that raw away. And since this is all off the cuff, I just want to be up front and say that

there might be some of that here. I don't know what these questions are, right? Hopefully no one asks me where babies come from.
