Well, maybe for East Coasters, West. West Coasters, I just kind of fell out of bed and saw this trailer. We're going to dive into the Mandalorian and Grogu official trailer. I'm Ken Napsalk. I'm Joseph Grimshaw. I'm very happy to be here. I knew the trailer was coming. And yet I did my normal thing when I wake up, which is to open blue sky.

And the first thing I saw was a cute little Rhodian baby. And I thought, oh, no, wait, stop. I must watch the trailer right away. The hazards of our times, right? When you can't be there, moment something happens, you got to be prepared.

Put a content warning on the babies. Come on. It's here. The official trailers here. We're going to dive in.

This is much anticipated, much questioned. We've had a lot of conversations around here.

All of them I think are valid of, hey, when's this going to happen? Is it too late? Is it too early? Should it happen during an NFL championship game,

which was dominated by a pop-cultory moment with Bad Bunny? Or a week later, is that better?

And Joseph, all questions are kind of answered?

Yes, yes. Well, I guess the questions are answered,

and now we get to say what we feel about those answers.

I will say, I think we are living through an interesting shift

where this is the second time now.

They started with Mall, where Lucasfilm gave a warning

and had a teaser trailer for the full trailer.

And I think that is a shift where an acknowledgement that these trailers are for the general

population, but also they are boosted by, frankly, thousands and thousands and thousands of

folks like us who are all in star wars fans

or who uh will change their schedule in order to record talk about discuss pull apart the trailers

so it's interesting to be living in a different time and frankly you know uh this is a part of our

our lives is a part of how we uh pay bills and eat food and all that stuff. It's very nice to be able to plan for it. So thank you to Lucasfilm. That's the first answer. Thank you for the warning so we can put our backs into talking about this great trailer. Indeed. I canceled my morning walk. All right. I sacrificed. I sacrificed for all of you.
