Beginning in March 2020, just over three years ago, public health officials locked this country down.

One man talked back arguing that public health officials were getting the fight against COVID all wrong.

That got him into trouble.

Dr. J. Bottacarya came to Stanford University at the age of 17 and has never left.

In addition to his undergraduate degree, Dr. Bottacarya earned a doctorate from the Stanford Economics Department and an MD from Stanford Medical School.

Dr. Bottacarya is now a professor of medicine at Stanford and a fellow at the Hoover Institution.
