0:33.9	Darren. Nice to join you. Brilliant. Now um now listen we're going to start by talking about
0:39.0	that lap record at silverstone was it last autumn a few months ago yeah it's sort of um yeah
0:45.1	back end of the summer okay and so uh yeah it got i guess it's a good couple of months before it sort of
0:51.7	got released and that yeah for everyone else to see but um we actually of months before it sort of got released in that for everyone else to see.
0:54.5	But we actually did, we had two sort of goes at it.
1:00.2	But the first day, the weather was really shocking.
1:03.0	And we really struggled to get even a time where the lap time was okay.
1:08.4	I mean, it's still under the the two minute marker but it wasn't really
1:12.5	sort of reflective of what the car could do yeah uh and we were chasing like the rain during the day
1:17.9	and every now and again you'd get get a little sort of dry window but quite a greasy track
1:22.8	what was the lack record and what held it before you took it?
1:32.7	I think there was like a 208, I think, Porsche GT2.
1:33.7	I think it was.
1:37.1	So the lap record was a 206.
1:43.9	And just to fill you all in, right, Darren Turner in an Aston Martin Valkyrie on standard Missioning Cup 2 road tires broke the record around the Silverstone Grand Prix leap, so the full F1 track for a roadcar. It stood at two minutes, six seconds, and you're right, it was a man tie tuned Porsche 911 GT2 RS. Very, very fast roadcar.
