Unfictional is KCRW's program of stories and original documentaries.

It's a part of KCRW's independent producer project, a

laboratory for independent radio producers, writers, and performers and today on the program

we're going to feature a story from the podcast called

Love and Radio. The series comes from producer Nick Vanderculk, and he and his

collaborators put these stories together that are hypnotic and intense and they do it

while at the same time breaking and reinventing almost every convention of

radio production and storytelling. Plus the topics on the podcast are bloodier, stranger,

and especially dirtier than anything else you'll find on your car radio.
