Summary

Banjo Paterson was an Australian bush poet, author, and journalist whose works focused on the rural and outback areas, especially the district around Binalong, New South Wales, where he spent much of his childhood. He wrote "the Man From Snowy River", which was transformed into a movie, in 1890, and Australias national theme Waltzing Matilda in 1805. He wrote many humorous stories, one of which tells of a character who terrorized rural areas with his car in the days when cars were a new and usually feared rolling contraption that often proved dangerous to dogs and sheep. Our narrator for 3 Elephant Power is Erika Tippett.
