On October 11, 2025, lost profits former frontman Ian Watkins was murdered whilst in prison.

Ian, already one of the most notorious prisoners in the UK for the crimes he'd committed against

children, was stabbed to death inside HMP Wakefield. Two men, Rashid Gidell 25 and Samuel Dodsworth, 43,

have been charged with his murder, and two others, aged 23 and 39, were arrested on suspicion

of conspiracy to commit murder. The trial for this case is scheduled for May 2026, so it won't

be until then that we're able to understand

the full happenings of that fateful day in prison in Wakefield. I actually have covered part

of this story before. It was about one of the killers of Ian Watkins, Rashid Gadil. The reason

he is currently in prison, the reason he was there

in the first place, he was involved in a murder of a young man called Sven Badzac. I'm going to be

re-releasing that episode at the end of this intro. So I want to talk a little bit about Ian Watkins

and his crimes and then we'll get into what one of his alleged killers

did to end up behind bars. So let's talk about the man at the centre of this all, the person who

became the target, Ian Watkins. If you do not know about what Ian Watkins did, let me warn you

before you get into it. The case is absolutely horrific.
