Hey, it's Jordan Johnson, and you are listening to the Grove Podcast. Today we are

continuing our Making the Grove series where you get a behind the scenes look at

how the Grove came to be and what goes into the brainstorming, the creating, the building,

and the fostering of this gathering that seeks to serve the women of our city and beyond.

The Grove is a monthly gathering for the women of Atlanta and is an outpouring of Passion City Church.

It's led by Shelly Giglio and an amazing team of women.

And today I'm talking to some of those women who have been helping build the Grove since its inception, as well as some of the folks

who are putting hand to plow and creating beautiful environments month after month.

We've got some of the original builders, Emily Vogel Tans, and Carrie Stanville.

Emily is a wife and mom to four who served on the passion team for over 15 years

and served as our Grove Ambassador for over half that time.

Carrie is a wife and mom to four, as well as a real estate agent, and serves on our leadership team.

We'll also be hearing from Audrey Mosley, who full-time on the Grove team as the

creative coordinator as well as Raz Khan who is a master craftsman and builder and

owner of Saaha Design which is a custom furniture and design company here in Atlanta.

Today we'll discuss what it has looked like to build the grove in the earliest days,

the importance of breathing beauty into our spaces, and some of the ins and outs of how we create our

gorgeous environments that help welcome women into our house month after month.
