And today we have a special show on a historic look at

anti-Semitism in America and the Crown Heights Riot in New York. Though the

Riot occurred in 1991 it has continuing relevance given the events of the last year on American college campuses and elsewhere in the United States

The ride is the subject of a new documentary published by a partnership between

Wall Street Journal Opinion and Palladium Pictures which is the company of

documentary producers Michael and Gina Pack. This is the first of what we expect to be a series of short

documentaries by this partnership as we look to tell stories and relate our

journalism to audiences in new ways and across multiple platforms.

I'm joined today by Michael Pac, as well as by Elliot Kaufman,

my colleague on the editorial page,

we took another look at the Riot on its anniversary and is featured in the documentary, which is entitled

Get the Jew, The Crown Heights Riot revisited, the phrase get the Jew coming directly from the documentary as a quote

heard during the Riot.
