Welcome to slow mob. Welcome back. This is one of my very final episodes before I go to vacation. I told you in my previous episode that we are going to wind

slow mow down a little bit of time because I have other important priorities I

feel that in the time I have available to me with the ambitions I have I need to be a

little more focused and as much as I love this thing there are things that deliver more

impact for the next year. My closing mini series is a passion

of mind during 2024, which is really to find the truth, to understand the reality of the world around us and what to believe and what not to.

This miniseries hopefully will be five episodes that we call it's not what they told you.

And there is no one that can help us understand the core of how the

media works, at least how the media was designed to work if you want than my guest today.

Andy Carlson is very well known in the British society

for some very interesting stories and some very very serious contributions.

He was the editor of the News of the World between 2003, 2007.

He was the head of communication, director of communication for the British Prime Minister David Cameron

between 2007 and 2011 and he now runs his own consultancy firm around crisis management and you know is the host of a

podcast that I personally like called Crisis what Crisis and these story hit the

headlines if you want because his organization back in news of the world

hacked phones to get to a story which may have been important to the public but then

eventually many many years later, the blame fell on Andy if you want.

And he had to pay for it.
