Summary
Early on, investigators had begun to probe the backstories of two men - Jay Smith and Bill Bradfield - but had no concrete evidence linking them to the case. Both men had shady pasts, and undeniable links to the victim (as well as to each other), but were seemingly beyond reproach.
Over the next several years, a delicate game of cat-and-mouse would be played throughout the court system. But what started out as a civil suit between Bradfield and Susan Reinert's loved ones would slowly morph into a full-on criminal investigation...

| 1:22.5 | get amplified with every passing year. |

| 1:30.9 | of cancer, while she would ultimately succumb to it in August of 1979. |
