Yay! And yes, I am recording this at 6 p.m. on February 29th, on a leap year, at the 11th hour, sliding in at the very last minute of February, because February was a very wonky month.

I have been, I want to say I've been out for a couple of weeks, but really I was out for a week

in which I could not read, write, or talk.

The three things I do best.

That was a weird sound, and I'm still coughing.

It's been a couple of weeks because first there was a week

of the kid and I both really being out of commission with some kind of knockdown, drag out

flu, and then this last week has just been a lot of coughing. And when I talk, I cough. I feel a lot better.

The kid feels a lot better.

He's been back in his program.

But I don't sound that great.

And sometimes coughing happens.

So this just might be a cut and paste kind of situation.
