good morning welcome to the independent republic of mike graham at home of Common Sense Talk Radio, where there is once more an awful lot of news to digest and an awful lot of stories to talk about.

First up, we've got Rwanda, the new destination for illegal migrants seeking asylum in the UK.

Chrissy Patel is signing a deal with the Rwandan Foreign Minister Vincent Baruta later this

morning, which will mean all male arrivals on dinghies on the south coast of this country

will be put on a plane and flown to the African Republic.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has finally answered calls from his critics and the many millions

of people who voted for him to do something about the thousands of illegals flocking to

our shores

each and every day. Only yesterday I was saying he needs to sort out the immigration problem.

He needs to sort out the net zero obsession and he needs to sort out the cost of living. Last year,

28,000 people made the journey and are currently being housed at our expense to the tune of

five million pounds a day. While the human rights

brigade were already weeping and wailing about how cruel that is, much of the country

will be rejoicing that finally something is being done to stop the population from growing

at the rate of a medium-sized town every single year. At the start of this year the numbers

were even higher and there could be 60,000 coming this year if they're not prevented from coming.

Now, there are plenty of critics out there.
