him any day. Speaking of Connor Bedard, a team that is very much in the running for his services for what they probably

hope for the next 10 years is the Arizona coyotes and the man that covers them better than anybody else.

Craig Morgan joining me on the line from Phoenix Sports. Craig how are you today?

I'm great how are you Matt? I'm good I'm good so it's it's been an expected year

for the coyotes in terms of wins and losses. How would you categorize what's gone on on the ice

and off the ice?

Like, is there any way to deem this season somewhat of a success?

Well, with the way that they're playing at Mullen Arena, they're really not staying on assignment for the Connor Bedard sweepstakes.

So I don't know.

We'll have to wait and see what happens at the lottery for a team that has never had any lottery luck that has never picked in the top two somehow in spite of their struggle to the desert.

This was all about the rebuild and trying to get one of those top three

pigs and because the coyotes are playing so well at home they may not accomplish

that either when when the NHA draft lottery comes around.

Well, I saw a stat last night that they have more home wins than like Ottawa and Washington,

like teams that were in and around the playoff picture.

And I guess the question is is is there some sort of advantage for them to playing

in Mullet Arena in front of a smaller crowd and you know the dressing rooms aren't
