Moses was fearless in confronting Pharaoh.

He was fearless in confronting the people of God

and their sin.

He was a bold, strong man.

Yet the Bible says he was the meekest man

that ever lived.

Why?

Because his strength was always a mask

in reaction to God's honor,

never in defense of himself.
