God wants us to receive His love and to respond to Him freely in return.

Today, you'll hear more about the character of God and His immeasurable, unconditional love.

Now, all the attributes of God we've discussed and we've discussed many of them,

the one that people talk about the most and know the least about is this one right here.

And that is God as a God of love.

They talk about it the most, sing about it the most, discuss it the most,

but the truth of it is most people don't love Him.

And there are many, many Christians who need to examine their hearts to see

if they love God or if they're only afraid of God and reverence God or is it genuine love.

Now, I'm not talking primord at the night of our love toward God, but His love toward us.

But I'm simply saying that most people don't understand what the love of God is,

how God expresses His love, and the idea that God just loves everybody is that big bowl of soup

we throw everything into and we say, well, after all, God loves everybody.

We've discussed many of His attributes, but when it comes to this particular one,

most people probably feel like, well, you know, everybody knows that God loves them.

And you see that love and that attribute is one of those characteristics of God

that we take for granted.

All I know that God loves me.

But did you know something?

A great minute you're sitting here tonight don't really intruly believe

that God loves you from an emotional point of view.
