Sharing stories, tips, and insights from great golf minds to help you lower your score and raise your golf IQ. Here's your host, Fred Green. Welcome to the

0:31.9

Golf Smarter podcast, Gary. Thanks for having me on, Fred. It's very kind of you.

0:38.1

Well, it's very nice that I received a notice from your book publicist about your book

0:44.1

because this is a book that came out a year ago and publicists don't usually continue working

0:48.8

on the books a year later. But boy, am I glad I found this book. It's called The Lost Art of Pudding,

0:56.3

introducing six putting performance principles. And I really want to talk about this today.

1:02.5

Well, I think the most appropriate aspect of this call is we're actually celebrating our first

don't set far to it until you've read it. Yeah, well, and I'm still, I'm not reading it, actually. I'm

1:25.3

1:47.4

the same player at the same time, but in different locations.

1:52.5

So while Carl was working on getting the guys head in the right place and getting his thoughts

1:57.0

clear, I was trying to help with their golf game on course. So the combination of

2:01.7

the two was kind of quite a strong mix, if you like. So, you know, we worked together a bit over the

2:09.0

years. And then the last three or four years, we started to collaborate on a few golf schools

2:13.0

and master classes and things. And we started to, you know, know we were kind of what led us to write the

2:20.3

book was we've seen so many guys falling by the wayside really talented players at all levels
