| 0:35.9 | I'm Tony Wiggins, the host of the Locked-on NFL show here on Locked-on NFL, the Barbershop. And he is David Harrison of Locked-on Commanders. Let me tell you what today's show is going to be all about. At the end of the show, we'll talk about a look back at the big trade between the Packers and the Cowboys and how that is fair. Right smack in the middle, a win-win for the Pats and the Eagles, sort of. And at the very top, trade impact on the Rams and the Browns, it is two teams headed in two different directions. And we're going to park right there for the first segment. My man, David, I haven't talked to you since this trade happened. Huge. And it came out of nowhere. It was just like nobody was talking about it. And all of a sudden it dropped, man, like a bomb and set the NFL on fire. Biggest trade, I think the biggest trade involving a current player I think I've ever seen. Yeah. I mean, it's the biggest one I can think of, right? And I think Miles Garrett is definitely one of those dudes. I mean, he's almost kind of been, you know, thought of in a national level as alone on that Cleveland Brown's defense. And I want to put it that way because, you know, no one man can make an entire 11-man unit, you know, as good as the Brown's defense has been. So they certainly have some other guys out there. Denzo Ward deserves a lot of praise and things like that. So Miles wasn't doing it by himself, but he was doing a lot of heavy lifting. He was carrying a lot of water for that defense, you know, and, yeah, the whole thing last year during Super Bowl week where he's talking about, you know, I'm never playing in Cleveland again and doing all this stuff. And it turned out to just be posturing to get more money, which I think we all, you know, hoped that he was the caliber of player where it wasn't just posturing to get more money than it turns out it was. And so, you know, there's a little bit of disappointment in that whole thing. but at the end of the day, you know, Miles is going to look out for Miles, |
| 2:18.9 | and I've always took the stance that, you know, we get paid to share our opinions and analysis on what these players do and the decisions they make and the front offices and all that stuff. But at the end of the day, they should just be focused internally on what they're doing. That's certainly what Miles is doing. I'm sure he is happy as I'll get out to be in Los Angeles. |
| 2:35.9 | And I can tell you from the TV, doing that's certainly what miles is doing i'm sure he's happy as all get out to be in los angeles um |
| 2:36.0 | and i can tell you from uh the team that i cover not a lot of people happy that miles garrett |
| 2:41.3 | just landed on the 2026 schedule uh with the rams visiting the commanders but you know hey that's |
| 2:47.2 | that's how the league works man so kudos to the the Rams for taking a big swing to the Browns. |
| 2:51.9 | I mean, we'll just have to continue to see what they do with all of the stuff that they just got. Yeah, if I'm Jacoby percent, I hold out for more money. And I get more of an insurance policy if I'm out there in the West. But no, man, we criticize these organizations that are poorly run so much. and then we criticize the players who play for those teams that criticize the same |
| 3:10.6 | organization that they play for. |
| 3:12.5 | Something's got to give. |
| 3:13.4 | But now he's happy because he's going to be at an organization that's done a lot right |
