I'm on the phone with Ashvin, and today we are discussing The Lords of Salem from 2012, directed and written by Rob Zombie starring Sherry Moon Zombie,

Meg Foster, Jeff Daniel Phillips, and Bruce Davidson.

And in this film, a Heidi, a radio DJ in Salem, Massachusetts,

is sent a mysterious record that the drowning melody is either sending her into a psychological breakdown or slowly revealing her own fate as well as the fate of Salem itself.

Ashvin, we continue our journey through Rob Zombie's filmography with this one.

Yeah, I didn't realize this was a journey we were willingly going to take. I thought that year we saw two or three of his films was an accident, and we'd forget about this guy.

I think I've kind of been pushing us along this train.

I don't really know why.

I think we just accidentally kind of started doing his movies in order, and then I felt like we had to keep going.
