Summary

As we continue our focus on simply stirring up our affections for God this week, today we’re going to take time to focus on the fact that God is present in our lives. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, God is with you in and through it all. And his presence, his nearness is the foundation on which we are meant to live as his people. May we develop a greater sense of his nearness today and learn how we can live our life in light of the goodness of his presence.

Our Scripture for today comes from Zephaniah 3:17, and today's worship is This Close by Steffany Gretzinger.

1:05.8	with gladness. He will quiet you by His love. He will exult over you with loud singing.
1:15.6	Hardly a verse in all of Scripture sums up the heart of God for His people better than
1:20.8	Zephaniah 3, 17. As we walk through this passage today, I pray your life would be transformed
1:28.5	by the reality of God's nearness and the depth of His love for you. Scripture says,
1:34.9	The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save. He will rejoice over you
1:40.8	with gladness. He will quiet you by His love. He will exult over you with loud singing.
1:49.3	God is in our midst. Take a moment to consider that fact. God is not far off. In fact, He
1:56.8	is with you right now. If you are a Christian, His Spirit dwells within you. Felicia
2:03.4	Bink with your Spirit. Someone 397 says, Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall
2:11.2	I flee from your presence? God's presence is with you right now. He is in your midst.
2:20.7	He is a mighty one who will save. As a believer, you have been saved not of your own accord,
2:26.9	but by the humble, loving sacrifice of Jesus. If you have confessed your faith in Christ,
2:34.2	you are His forever, and nothing can take away your salvation. Rejoice in Him today. The
2:41.1	Almighty God has come for you, and you now have nothing to fear. Salvation is yours
