Good evening and welcome again. Sorry for the late start. We're glad that you're joining with us tonight.

On Thursday nights, we're going through the Bible, book by book, and chapter by chapter and verse by

verse. And tonight we are in Isaiah chapter 46. Just one chapter tonight again, and I think you'll

see why here shortly. But before we jump in if you would

please join with me we're gonna pray and just ask God to bless our time together

in his word. Father in heaven thank you so much for this time that we have

for this chapter that we have before us tonight, Lord, thank

you for your word.

Lord, would you just settle our hearts now and just quiet our minds and by the Holy Spirit just enable us to give you our undivided, undistracted attention

so that you can speak into our lives in and through your word, especially with everything that's happening in the world today.

Lord, it just seems to be getting more and more intense with each passing day. Just so many things

are happening and just so much fear and uncertainty and Lord we know that you've

not given us a spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a discipline sound mind and so

Lord tonight we want to with that mind that you've given us, we want to use it.

And we want to use our ears too to hear and our eyes to see and our hearts to receive.

Lord, I truly believe with all my heart that you have a word for us tonight.

And it's a word of encouragement and a word of hope.

So Lord, bless our time we pray.
