Deuteronomy chapter 32, verse 4. The Rock, which is a capital R. Rock. The Rock. His work is perfect.

For all his ways are justice. A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and upright is He.

What a strong verse, what a powerful picture of praise to God for who He is.

And the verse right before this says, I'll proclaim the name of the Lord and

describe greatness to our God, the rock, again with a capital R. And his work is perfect. His ways are

perfect. They're just. And not just, all his ways are justice. God defines justice with his ways and his words.

There's a lot of conversation, discussion, disagreement, argument over what justice is. Well, God's the one who

defines what justice is and all of his ways are justice. He's a God of faithfulness without

iniquity. Just and upright is he. And so I just want to lead us to

praise God for who He is. When we pray, yes, we should ask for things. God has invited us, called us to

ask for things at the same time. Sometimes we just need to pray and praise God for who he is. Just exalt God,

just proclaim the glory of God in prayer. So let's do that together right now. Oh God, we praise you

as the rock, as our rock with a capital R. are our foundation we stand upon you all of our hope is in you

oh god all of our strength comes from you you are the rock and your work is perfect god we praise you

for your perfect work especially especially as imperfect people, imperfect

creatures, imperfect sons and daughters. We praise you for all your perfections, all your attributes

that are perfect and all your work that is perfect. We praise you for all your ways that are justice.

Oh, God, we praise you as the one who defines justice. And you are a God of faithfulness.

We glorify your name for your faithfulness to us in light of all of our unfaithfulness to you.

God, we're so thankful that you are faithful to us, even when we are unfaithful, that you're

faithful to your word, to all of it, to all your promises, that you're faithful to carry out
