0:36.4	Shalom. Even if you do not speak Hebrew, I venture to say you probably know what the word means.
0:43.8	In the east, to say shalom is literally to say, peace be to you.

1:17.2	That in a world filled with war and conflict and strife for the child of God, there is peace.

1:24.5	We're going to have peace someday.
1:26.8	But I am thrilled to report to you today that God's
1:31.1	peace is not just for the future. It is now. You see, the eternal God gives eternal peace,
1:37.9	and you do not have to wait until you leave this world to have it. You can have peace right now.
1:47.6	Some people have said that he is the God of peace. That's fine, but I think the much better way to say it is he's the Lord our peace. Let's
1:52.9	make it personal. And the first time we are given this name in Scripture is in Judges chapter 6 in the
1:58.6	context of Gideon. You remember how God called Gideon to be one of the
2:02.7	judges of Israel and what a task he had. And in Judges chapter 6 in verse 21, the Bible says that the
2:10.7	angel of the Lord came to visit Gideon. And the Bible says the angel of the Lord put forth the end of the
