The Welcome back, folks, it's Jason Josh with Factor Fantasy. That's Jason, I'm Josh. We're here to give you a part two of Lord of the Rings

and the Fellowship of the Ring today, where we're going to be covering chapters

The Old Forest through Strider. That's the next five chapters in the first book here in

Fellowship of the Ring. So I'm glad to say that this thing has been a very interesting start from what I remember as a kid.

But I will say this, there's a lot of things I either forgot about because it's been so long

that I'm starting to pick up on a little bit better.

And on top of that, I really kind of noticed that, you know, our guy, J.R. Tolkien, he just loves describing

everything. I'll say that. But yeah, so if you guys joined us last week, we started this big

arc. We tackled the first five chapters, which was like a long, expected party through

a conspiracy unmasked. I'll go through a quick recap of all that in just a

second before we jump into what we're going to be tackling today. Before I do so, I'm going to

turn the floor over to Chase and say a few words and we'll go from there. Let's keep the party rolling,

man. Just like you said, I told you I haven't read these books since eighth grade.

So it's funny what you really remember sticks out to you from the movie compared to like the books.

And there's even some characters today we'll talk about that I just plan on forgot.

They were there.

So yeah, man, it's definitely building up.

We're getting this, you know, we're launching up the ramp right now is what we're doing.

We're building up, getting up to that fifth year.

We're not quite there yet, but let's keep the party rolling, man.
