Chase & Josh are back at it again today where we compare the first half of The Fellowship of the Ring novel to it's Extended Edition Part 1 film counterpart! Join us as we highlight some of the key differences between the movie and book such as; the hobbit's trip into the Old Forest and subsequently their introduction to Tom Bombadil, Gandalf's conflict with Saruman, which elf helps Frodo get to Rivendell, Bilbo's place in the Council of Elrond and many more. 1:00.6	So I'm looking forward to switching gears and doing it here with Lord of the Rings and kind of seeing how it goes.
1:06.0	You know, I know we've kind of put out three episodes so far with the Lord of the Rings where it's tackled everything in the novel.
1:12.0	We've split it right off at the end where
1:14.3	Froto agrees to take the ring from the council of Elron in the novels and that's kind of where
1:20.1	the movie kind of breaks off too. And so that's why we decided today we're going to do the part one of it.
1:24.8	Obviously I know with Harry Potter, Chase and I would do the full movie at the end of the novels
1:30.7	but man with these extended editions you be looking at like four
1:34.2	hours of just film time so it was gonna be really tough to do it so we decided to
1:38.2	break it up into halves so we're gonna do part one of the movie here today
