Open your Bibles to Psalm 23.

We'll go somewhere where we know.

I always remember Psalm 23 because when I was a little kid, the first time I saw it, it said,

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.

And I thought, why don't I want him?

Because to a little kid, I don't want, means you don't want.

It doesn't mean you don't lack, and I kept seeing I don't want it.

So I was a little kid and I just don't understand why they wrote that and they didn't want him.

And that's how I always remembered it anyway.

Glory to God.

But Psalm 23 is about being led by God.

Psalm 23 is about having him as your shepherd,

is about being led by him, by his spirit,

doing the things, going the direction he's going,

hearing his voice, and doing the things he's doing.

You know, so many people, I won't even say that.

I say, in my life, too many times I've said I'm following God, and God was going that way.

And I was going this way.

And people say, well, you know, I'm following God.

God's going that way.

I'm following God.
