and it's just me in this news segment here. Everyone's fairly busy with work at the site. Once again, I encourage everyone to just visit slashfellum.com and see all the stuff that we have cooking up for you all the time over there. So I have to start off with some sad news. And I'm sure

everyone knows this by now. But Robert Redford died yesterday at age 89. Just a Titan of Hollywood,

an Oscar-winning director, one of the best actors Hollywood has ever seen. I would say for our

younger listeners who may not have taken the time to dive back into his filmography yet, I have seven movies that I think would be a really good starting place that gives you a good breadth of what he was capable of as an actor.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, Three Days of the Condor, all the President's

men, sneakers, all is lost, and a film called The Hot Rock, which I caught up with for the

first time a few years ago, and it's just a really, really fun heist movie. If you watch all

of those, I think you'll have a pretty good idea of why Redford was just a legend in the film world.

And that's not even to mention the fact that he co-founded the Sundance Film Festival, which,

I mean, the impact of that alone on the film community and the industry at large is immeasurable.

So rest in peace to Robert Redford, just wanted to open the show,

paying quick tribute to him. And if you've not seen All Is Lost, I really recommend checking that out.

He says something like 50 words in the whole movie. And the entire film is just Robert Redford's character on a boat. and he wakes up and realizes that there's a hole in his boat.

The boat has crashed in the night, and he has to figure out how to survive, basically.

And it's a very unusual movie, but, man, Redford is great in it.

So definitely check out some of his work if you're not super familiar with him.

Okay, so moving on, there's no good way to transition out of the talking about the death of
