So I think the biggest issue here is the fact that it is a death penalty situation.

And whenever you have that, the court is going to be much more lenient in terms of providing for plenty of time for the defense to make their, you know, to work on their

strategies, to review evidence, so on and so forth. You have that combined with the fact that this

defense team, by the way, of four attorneys, four very well-paid attorneys, know that it is a very fruitful strategy for the defense to delay, delay, delay, due to evidence being, you know, issues with evidence, issues with witnesses.

Anytime something happens right away, it's going to be

positive for the prosecution. When it's three years away, it's going to be a more difficult case.
