Summary

15-month-old Evelyn Boswell was reported missing on February 19th, 2020 by her grandfather, but she hadn't actually been seen since December 2019.

I'm sure you're wondering - how does a missing baby go unreported for 2 months?

Her mother, 18-year-old Megan Boswell, tried to explain during an interview, "Well, the reason I didn’t report it or anything was I knew the person who had her and I didn’t want them to run away with her. In a way, I knew that as soon as anything went down this person was going to disappear and they have."

A month later, Evelyn's remains were found in a shed on a family member's property with her toys, clothes, and diapers. With a family full of felons pointing fingers at each other, investigators had a long road ahead of them - but ultimately they were able to make an arrest.

1:11.3	her house. Sure everyone's been dying to hear the latest update but we've sold our house so
1:17.8	it all went through on Wednesday afternoon this week and so I think the process is a bit different here to there or in my
1:25.8	state anyway so you exchange with the buyers that usually happens in the week or so
1:31.7	after they put in an offer and they pay a 10% deposit and basically that means once you exchange they can't back out that's when they say congratulations you've sold your house and congratulations you've bought a house. So if they do back out you keep their 10% deposit and you can have
1:45.8	legal recourse against them but our agent said in 45 years not one person has
1:51.7	ever backed out after exchange so sold the house and then we settle which is
1:56.1	when we get the balance of the you know money and they get the house at the end of the month so that's
2:01.7	very exciting so now I'm just going to find somewhere else to live.

2:08.4	Yeah we're not in a real rush so we're living somewhere at the moment where we can stay for a while so that's fine I'm like I just
2:14.7	feel so relieved I was waking up in the middle of the night being stressed and just
2:19.7	so anxious I don't even know why but it's just so out of your control I guess when you sell
2:24.8	a house you just don't know what's going to happen.
2:26.6	So so relieved to have it done at least this way we can just take our time and figure out where we want to go next.
