to sail around the Auckland Islands, which is this group of islands, 300 miles south

of the southernmost tip of New Zealand.

This is sounding harrowing.

Okay, so we are sealers, not just sailors, but sailors hunting seals.

Right, it's a hot ceiling spot, so this isn't the first time a ship has gone down.

Got it.

It's our way up, and we realize all of our supplies, our food, has gone down with the ship.

So you know, it's looking bleak.
