Hey, everybody. Welcome back to another episode of the Catholic Talk Show.

Today we're going to be talking about the most important prayer in the church that you've never heard of.

That's right. Today we're talking about the divine office or the liturgy of the hours.

What a rich treasure the church that we have in the divine office. It is the very heartbeat of the

church and the liturgy of the hours. It's a beating heart. That's right. I mean, it really, it's

incredible. And to realize that you're praying, when you pray the liturgy of the hours,

you're praying with the whole church, you're praying with the pope, the bishops, the priests,

the religious men and women consecrated around the world, and so many laypeople, so many people

that are just faithful to the daily, daily and hourly devotion of praying. So what is the liturgy

of the hours of the divine office? It's seven times a day or a structured multiple times a day

where you pray a pre-set set of prayers and readings for that particular day of the year.

And all Catholics throughout the world are united in this prayer. It's the bravery area. It's

going through every day and there's something to read and it makes you stop throughout the day

and really pray. And before we, before we wrap this up, we're going to share with you ways that

you can pray this with different books and apps. There's several different modifications of it.
