It's because of kind people like you that we

can keep making super great kids stories. This is a story from Denmark in northern Europe. It's an

adaptation of a fairy tale by a man called Hans Christian Anderson. He wrote beautiful stories like the elves in the

shoemaker and the ugly duckling. It's a little bit sad, but it does have a happy ending for the

little tree. And it's a song story retold by Anne Johnson, who told us Bonita the Sheep. See if you can recognise the tune.
