Hello and welcome once again to history dwebes. My name is Tim. And the topic of our podcast today is

the lipstick killer, a man by the name of William George Arons. Three names.

Yeah, he had three names.

He was the man who was arrested and convicted of these crimes,

although we'll talk about this a little bit later on.

It was brutal, brutal murders that took place in 1944 in Chicago.

And it's probably best known as the Listic murders because he would leave notes, or the killer anyway, would leave notes on the mirrors into victims' homes asking for the police to catch him.

So we're going to get into this story in all of Mr. Aaron's or lipstick killers anyway, dastrily deeds.

I hesitate to say him because there was some question as to his guilt, but we'll get into that.

Is he dead?

He is. Well, then it doesn't matter. Well, yeah, but I don't want to, you know, I can't keep open mind. We don't want to sully his good name if, in fact, he didn't do it, but we're going to spend the next 45 minutes sully his good name. Yeah. Well, he stuff but um he he he had a long history of criminal activity it's just that uh there were mostly non-violent crimes but anyway
