Summary
The British & Irish Lions defeated the NSW Waratahs 21-10 in Sydney for their third straight victory on Australian soil. But, are problems emerging for head coach Andy Farrell?
Alfie Reynolds, Will Kelleher and Alex Lowe reflect on the performance and question whether the players are executing the gameplan in the way the coaches want. They also discuss who is dropping out of test match contention and what the Lions need to do on Wednesday against the Brumbies.

| 0:00.0 | Welcome back to the Ruck, the journalist's rugby podcast from The Times and the Sunday Times coming to you on another Saturday night, this time from Sydney, in an empty stadium after the Lions have won another game. |
| 0:27.2 | They beat the New South Wales Waratars, but Alex Lowe Will Keller her. |
| 0:32.1 | Are there more question marks over the Lions after that game than previous matches on this tour? |
| 0:37.2 | Yes, although I think a lot of |
| 0:38.9 | things have become pretty clear in terms of who is not going to be in the test team and who is. |
| 0:44.9 | I thought the Waratars gave it a really good go. I better stab at it than I expected. You know, |
| 0:52.1 | they're the third of the four Australian |
| 0:54.4 | teams. They'd lost seven players to the wallabies. I wasn't sure they'd stick with, uh, with the |
| 0:59.8 | lions. Again, the lion started slowly and scruffily as we've seen all tour, but the lions |
| 1:04.1 | couldn't put away because, you know, Charlie Gamble, their open side was just laying havoc at, uh, |
| 1:09.9 | the breakdown and winning turnovers and the lions just had no direction. |
| 1:13.8 | They were, you know, I like their ambition of trying to pass quickly and flat, but they're so far, they're so under the nose of the defence that everything's under pressure and it's forced. |
| 1:23.5 | No one's running straight. |
| 1:25.6 | No one's breaking. |
| 1:26.4 | No one's going to giving them any direction. |
| 1:28.2 | They have to learn a lot from this. |
| 1:30.8 | You know, because where to make life difficult for the Lions is now really obvious, I think. |
| 1:37.2 | So, yeah, it wasn't a great. |
| 1:38.9 | It was a win, but Andy Farrell was about as hacked off tonight as he was after the game in Dublin because I think, well, he's just, they're not, the team are not executing what he wants them to execute. |
| 1:50.4 | It was interesting because we had the sky coverage slash the Stan Sports coverage on watching it during the game and Richard Wigglesworth was up at half time doing a little interview and he mentioned |
| 2:01.1 | that we're better win the balls in front of us and I think he sort of means in sort of normal |
| 2:05.7 | fans speak that when you're running through the front door rather than playing these what |
