JMO in the headlines again

Kind of a layered, nuanced, complicated story.

Timing is not great with him being suspended already for performance enhancing

substances, but was detained briefly during a traffic stop early October.

Two weapons in the car, one was his, one was his one was his brothers his brother as a

CPL JMO didn't look like it was going to be leading to an arrest then it

wasn't leading to an arrest and so you know look it's it's another situation where he's in the news

probably more of a police story a police procedural story but you know we've had a chance to talk to Dan

Campbell we've had a chance I think overnight to kind of digest it and and

learn a little bit more about laws and procedures.

You know, any profound opinions to add to the topic, Will? No, nothing that I'm sure hasn't been uttered already. I'll say

that two things can be true. One, GMO has certainly been the victim of some silly rules, one of which was so silly

that the NFL literally rewrote it when it came to his gambling suspension.

And we don't know what the substance was that he took but again we can

infer that it was a fairly minor infraction and probably a technicality more than a

deliberate violation.

Also true though is that he's the only player

that I know of who has been ensnared

by both of those rules over the past year

and now he's been tripped up a third time and they are
