ready to get your mind aligned with the truth of God today. I want to encourage you that

wherever you are in the world, whatever it is, you find yourself doing day after day.

You are destined to be a light in this world. Today we're going to read in John chapter

3 verses 19 through 21. Jesus own words about that fact, about the light that has come into

the world, and the way we as those who believe in Him are to be a part of that light spreading

throughout the darkness. Stick around. We're going to get into that in just a moment. But

21. Jesus is speaking to a religious guy, one of the religious leaders, his name is Nicodemus,

and he's telling him how he, as the Messiah, has come into the world to do a bunch of things

Nicodemus wasn't expecting. One of those is to provide a way for eternal salvation and eternal

life, which he described in verses 16, 17, and 18. Here he's talking about spreading the

light of God into the world. Let's read in verse number 19, he says, and this is the judgment.

The light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because

their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not

come to the light, less to his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes

to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.

Now Jesus is describing something that on the surface makes a whole lot of sense, but
