Hey there kids, it's me, Mr. Kee-Pasta, and before we get started on tonight's story,

I'm going to tell you about another book that's available from Critic Nightmares.

He also has the other books that you guys are probably more familiar with that are

my tiny town is put on lockdown, part 1 and part 2, but he just released a new book

this last weekend called Shadows of My Mind, a horror story anthology.

When it comes to everybody's post-apocalyptic purple fog surviving author, Critic Nightmares,

and now onto tonight's story.

They say that just before you die, your life flashes before your eyes.

The life you lived upto that point filled with all your happiness and all your sorrows,

all your good decisions and your bad decisions.

Your life from start to finish races through your mind in little more than a blink.

It's very little if any actual proof that this happens.

The reason there's no proof is that to truly know means that you would have to die.

Well I spent most of my life alone struggling with depression.

I felt and watched as it slowly chews away in my psyche.

Which knew bout of sadness steals from me another little part of my soul, another little

piece of myself lost into the ether.

On my age of 33 I've seen many of the so-called friends come and go.

Family members lost and gone with nobody bothering to tell me until months later.

And I found out from a random comment on some social media platform that I mustered

up the courage to check that day.

That was the way that I found out that my mother had died nearly two months prior.
