host Anne Comrade, Bred O'Shea and today we have on Wolf from Bands of Turtle

0:13.9

Island to basically give an oral history of sitting bull, the life and

0:18.2

legacy of chief sitting bull. Before we get into that oral history we are going

0:22.3

to have a sort of back and forth conversation about the construction of the

1:20.4

know I've read enough theory to have a good basis to decide that for myself

1:25.4

you know. For sure. Born in Pine Ridge that's where I grew up a bit and then was

1:31.9

disconnected from the culture and reconnecting trying to learn the language

1:35.6

just because it's very difficult if people don't constantly talk around you

1:40.6

and Lakota to keep up with that language. It's a very phonetic language like

1:48.3

more I'm always very impressed like reading their tweets and like when they come
