0:36.9	almost mythical status because of how strange his life is. To say his life sounds like it was pulled from the pages of a science
0:45.8	fiction book would honestly be a massive understatement because it's actually way
0:50.3	weirder than that. Jack Parsons co-founded the Jet Propulsion Lab, aka JPL,
0:57.0	and the Aerojet Engineering Corporation.
1:00.0	He made significant contributions to the advancement of rocket science during the 1930s and the 1940s.
1:07.6	His work helped lay the foundation for modern space exploration and he's considered to be one of the key figures in the history of American
1:16.8	rocketry. JPL still exists today and it's run by NASA. If you aren't familiar, you should definitely just take a second to Google it and see for yourself.
1:26.8	This is one of the largest and most important NASA facilities that exist.
1:31.2	It's in Pasadena, California at the edge of the mountains, and so for that
1:35.7	reason I've heard a lot about it, including a lot of strange rumors. Rumors about Jack Parsons Parsons other life. This was a man who was very into the
