| 1:46.6 | CIAA effort in Rio was to establish strong feelings of political and economic connection |
| 1:53.9 | between the two countries, enticing citizens there, away from German influence to create |
| 2:00.0 | hemispheric unity against the Nazis. |
| 2:03.0 | This might be partially achieved, through Disney cartoons that showed famous characters |
| 2:08.9 | typically considered to be residents of the U.S., such as Donald Duck, enjoying South American |
| 2:15.2 | locations and making friends there. |
