Now, for this week's episode, we're going to be looking at one of my favorite urban legends

to come out of Japan in recent years, the Kotori Bako.

This legend actually originated close to where I lived in Matsui City, Shimane Prefecture.

The story unfolded over several posts on Ni-chan as it developed and is one of the ultimate

examples of the Japanese grudge

and the widespread damage it can cause.

But let's get right to it.

This week's story is called Kotolibako.
