It is Thursday night, April 8th, the year of Our Lord, 2021, fresh off the Masters.

A nice little lead in for us on the show tonight. We have got a jam-packed college football Thursday evening for you. A couple of housekeeping notes. Going to mention them right after I tell you what's coming up. We don't talk a lot of NFL draft. Here, it's college football show. It's not really an NFL draft show. However, sometimes if you do the Venn diagram of that audience and the draft audience, sometimes there's a little bit of overlap. I think we have some overlap tonight. Touched on Justin Fields the other night, for example, not talking about Fields tonight. I wanted to talk about Matt Jones, Alabama quarterback, depending on which Mott draft, the Mock community out there, depend on which one you listen to, could go as high as third, not third round, third overall in this upcoming draft. I'm not going to do my analysis on that. What I am going to do, just talk about how insane that concept is. And I'm going to graphically back it up. We'll have something a little bit later for you as to how if we were to go back to 2017

and I were to say that to you, you would have slapped me.

Front hand and backhand, you would have slapped me for even suggesting such things.

So I'm going to do that.

I'm going to bring you a whole bunch of spring intel whispers.

Our Florida fans didn't like that we didn't touch on them last two nights, so we're going to touch on them tonight. Also, I need to go above and beyond at LSU. I want to do a specific deeper

dive on the quarterback situation there and how it permeates into the whole program, as these

quarterback depth charts often do. But if everyone wants to paint this as a make or break year for

Ed Ors run, make or break year for LSU, uh, sometimes that's that's hyperbolic, a little bit overrated. Maybe it's not this year, but it's going to be tied to quarterback. And if you're a believer that LSU's car is about to just plummet straight off a cliff, it's going to have to be in spite of the quarterback situation because they got a really, really good one. Maybe one of the best ones, not only in the SEC, maybe just the country overall. So I'm going to discuss that. I'm going to talk about some of the games this fall, Brad Crawford and the guys, really a lot of folks over, I've seen Dean do some for the Big 12 over on the desk side of 24-7, doing a lot of spotlight games for various conferences this fall. I'm going to do some of the SEC tonight. We'll probably get to all the conferences, but I'm going to do some from the SEC tonight because there are some that are on the radar every year. There are some that are specific to a given year that you may look forward to. Like if this were 1999, Tennessee would be in like six of the top ten.

Maybe Tennessee is in one of the top ten this year.

But there are some games.

I'm going to go down the list. There's like ten of them. And you can think right along with me, I'm just going to give you thoughts, every single one of them. Because right now we're, what, early April. So by the time these happen, a lot will have passed.
