All right, Sister Hood. So we have someone that some of you may know, some of you may not know,

but if you are in Bethany's world, I grew up reading all of Leslie Lutie's books, like, seriously.

And so you might be, you know know a Taylor Swift fan or something like that me

it was Leslie Lutie it was like oh my goodness I could not get enough of her books and

I remember one year I got to travel to Colorado where they were and go to one of their events and it was just like oh you know I was so starstruck by seeing you and seeing Eric and I was just like this is amazing So that really is like the world of Leslie Lutie for me.

Like, oh my goodness, you were just like this godly woman

that's a few years ahead of me that I looked up to

and I just devoured your books.

So for those who know Leslie, you're like freaking out like me.

And for those that don't, Leslie, thank you for being here.

And can you just rewind and share a little bit about who you are,

about what you do, and really over the past

years kind of how you got started in this yeah definitely well thank you for those nice

words I'm honored yeah I have been speaking and writing for women of all ages for quite a long time

now going on upwards of 20, 25 years. So it's it's been amazing what a blessing to be able to just connect with

women around the world and just communicate truth so basically to nut shell

it my husband Eric and I wrote a book called when God write your love story way back in the late 90s and

that book kind of launched a ministry that we never expected we would have I was planning on being a medical missionary, not a writer and a speaker,

but it was a book that really challenged the younger generation to consider bringing God into

every area of their life, including relationships relationships and it was just a felt need and

so it just resonated with a lot of them and through that a lot of younger women begin to like

college age high school kind of early 20s reach out to me and ask
