Summary
First, they shake their heads as MSNOW's Katy Tur is worried about officials on the right claiming that our rights come from God is usurping the Declaration of Independence. They laugh over the fact that is Johnson is precisely articulating the main point of the Declaration of Independence. But they weep at how ignorant so many Americans are about our founding and the state of civics education.
Next, they shudder over the Luigi Mangione fans becoming "journalists" covering his case and then taking to the sidewalk outside the court to celebrate Mangione's murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson and defending political violence as “heroic.” Inez explains how this and the reaction of many on the left to the murder of Charlie Kirk prove this is an acceptable perspective from way too many people on the left.
Then, they react to President Trump once again agreeing to push back additional military action because Iran is supposedly more serious about reaching a peace deal. Inez and Greg discuss why stalling is in Iran's interest and what the impact is on the U.S. as well.
Finally, as Gov. Newsom alludes to ways the Democrats can make sure the next governor of California is not a Republican, inez explains how the California Democrats operate and almost always get the results they want.

And as Stetman of the Independent Women's Forum, and as always good to have you back. It's always great to be here. Well, let's start with something that happened over the weekend. I'm not exactly sure when this particular comment on MS now happened. But there was an event on the national |
| 0:38.8 | mall. I believe it was on Sunday. And in commemoration with the 250th anniversary of the Declaration |
| 0:43.9 | of Independence, which of course is coming up on July 4th, there was a national event talking |
| 0:49.1 | about the religious and specifically the Christian roots of this nation. And so there are many |
| 0:54.0 | people speaking and talking about how that heritage is important and how we need to honor and perhaps revitalize that heritage. |
| 1:01.0 | One of the speakers was House Speaker Mike Johnson, who is certainly a devout Christian. |
| 1:06.0 | And he was talking about how our most cherished rights don't come from government. |
| 1:11.3 | They come from God. |
| 1:12.1 | And Katie Turr over at MS Now had this reaction with her panel. |
| 1:18.0 | What about this passage from Mike Johnson declaring that our rights do not derive from |

| 1:49.7 | Mike Johnson is not in conflict with the declaration here. He's actually highlighting the most |
| 1:54.4 | important central point here where he says, we hold these truths, this is Jefferson, not |
