Last week at Palisades Tahoe, the strikingly handsome Justin Bob and I,

stopped by the ledge snowboard shop at Palisades to talk about snowboard culture and the current state of snowboard

gear with a rather legendary figure in the snowboard world, Shug, aka Brett Scott.

And the resulting conversation involved a good mix of 90s hip-hop talk and a discussion of the history of snowboarding

and its influence on ski gear and this very interesting dynamic of snowboarding history

and how that plays with current innovation in snowboarding gear. This is a good one and Shug is definitely somebody that you ought to get to know.

And speaking of Palisades Tahoe, it is still crazy to me that this was my first time out there,

and it was also J-Bob's first time. And both of us can't believe that it took us so damn long to get out to Palisades

and we are already talking about when we are going to be getting back there.

And after listening to this conversation here today with Shug,

you can go say hi to Shug, maybe have him take a look at your bindings, and then go ride a

mountain that left us with a ton of terrain to still explore after four days of skiing and

riding ourselves.
