Good morning, everybody. Welcome. Good afternoon, I should say. It's a Saturday,

a rare weekend episode for dropping the gloves. I was supposed to do an interview with Wayne Primo on Thursday. I got nailed with a huge bug Wednesday night, just ejecting

everything out of my body. It was a lot of fun. I had an event

plan for this weekend to go to Ottawa. I go to drive there yesterday, or to the airport, I should say.

I was flying out of Sioux, Ontario, get to the bridge in McAnaw City. The bridge is closed.

Ice falling from the bridge. Can't get by the bridge. Sat there for like an hour.

Did my darnness to try to get there, but I just gave up, turned around. Bridge didn't open until 10 p.m.

So it didn't matter what I did. Get home. Kids still just, it was like a mass unit at my house still to that day.

It's been an insane whirlwind. We get bashed with another snowstorm last night.

Beautiful day today. But just it's been a lot the last couple of days. So I'm glad I could join you

today and get this episode out because holy hell. It's going to be a shorter one. I'm going to talk

about three topics. I'm going to talk about the Red Wings, the Oilers, and the pathetic Toronto Maple Leafs. So the big topic of conversation right now is Austin Matthews. They're playing the Anaheim ducks last night. He gets kneeed by Radco Gudus. Austin Matthews is done for the season. Thank goodness, because he's been having a trojan, not atrocious season, but I think he's a little bit relieved. This has been a terrible season for him, a terrible season for the Toronto they believe so going to miss the playoffs or nowhere near in contention. They've been playing garbage since the Olympic break where he was a hero and played so great for Team USA. They win the gold medal and they come back to the NHL and he's been just absolutely atrocious. So fast forward to the game. It was two days ago. He gets

absolutely just bonkered need by Radco Goodus. A terrible, terrible penalty. Radco

Goodus has been relatively good as far as NHL Department of Player Safety for the last few years.

I think his last suspension was, you know, four or five years ago.

So he's been a good boy recently. But this was a bad one. So he gets five games suspension,

which I'm okay with. I don't think it should have been more severe. Was it intentional? 100%.

Did he, you know, could Austin Matthews be severely injured yeah but i think when

you look at these type of suspensions what more do you want him to be suspended for you know
