Because when you long to be rich, you are a sucker for get rich quick schemes.

If you are contented, you don't fall prey to get rich quick schemes.

Somebody can scam you, you're not going to take risky things because you are contented.

People who are discontent are always looking for a way to make a fast buck.

They're always looking for the get rich quick scheme.

They're always looking for the fast solution, the double you return on your money instantly

and all of that.
