Welcome to our third and final installment of our reading and discussion of the law by Frederick Bostiat.

And I wanted to tell you that after this, I'm super excited because to wrap this

up next week, I normally do this on Tuesdays. I do it live on Tuesdays on the video streaming.

We're usually around 3 p.m. Pacific, 6 p.m. Eastern. And then it's on my podcast feeds Saturday

morning for Saturday Storytime. But next Tuesday, instead of doing a book reading, we're going to talk to Jonathan Newman.

He's a professor.

He's associated with the Mises Institute.

And it's going to be a very interesting education on the timeless lessons of Bostiat and why we need to return to them and remind

ourselves of them now more than ever. So I'm super excited about that. That's going to be good one.

And then the book I'm going to do after this, because there's all this UFO stuff going on,

is, of course, my favorite conspiracy researcher, Jim Keith, Saucers of the Illuminati. So stay tuned

for that. But that'll be after we wrap this up with Jonathan Newman. So I'm excited about that.

But let's get back to our reading.

This is The Law by Bastiat, and we had finished with a little quote from Rousseau, and he's basically ticking off some of the philosophers, political philosophers, whatever,

and he includes long passages from their works, and they get a little, you know, not everybody

is the greatest writer, so they get a teeny bit tedious, so I'm going to do my best to

read them so that they're easy to listen to and understand, and then he just, I think he

feels like they speak for themselves, and he puts a little bit of commentary here and there.
