So somewhere in the back of my mind, and I heard it again yesterday,

and I hear it again today just before I go on the air.

Talk about that New York Rangers' Florida Panthers game yesterday afternoon,

which was awesome, by the way.

Back of my mind, I have this voice, and it's Kelly Rudy's voice. And it's Kelly Rudy's voice

saying to me, you should never have to apologize for having a good goaltender. The goaltender,

after all, is part of your team.

So, part of me wants to say about that Florida New York Rangers game yesterday that the wrong team won,

that it was the Florida Panthers who dominated that game, specifically in the third period where even when they tidy, you said to yourself, Florida's going to get one here before the buzz.

But then I hear Kelly Rudy's voice.

Jeff, the goalie is part of the team.

The goalie gets a paycheck just like everybody else.

Don't be embarrassed to have a good goaltender.

Good on Igor Shishdurkin and good on the New York Rangers.

Good on Brickley, Gooddrow, good on Alexei Lafranier.

We're going to get to Jacob Trubon in a couple of seconds here.

But good on both those two teams yesterday.

That was an excellent game.
